Software we use for developing, testing and using nonlinear models

Tools are no substitute for knowledge and expertise, but go a long way in making the work easier. Nonlinear Solutions Oy uses several tools, mostly developed within the company. They include

• NLS Preprocessing Software: has a large number of preprocessing facilities including computation of correlation matrices, simple filtering, selection and division of data, clustering, etc.
  
  
• NLS 031: used for developing, testing, analysing certain kinds of nonlinear models
  
  
• NLS 050: used for developing, testing, analysing feed-forward neural network models. This replaces NLS 020.
  
  
• ELKS: used for experiment design, which tries to elicit nonlinearities with limited effort
  
  
• LUMET systems: meant primarily for clients' use, also used for analysis of the behaviour of nonlinear models
